100% Virtual and PAID Internships!!! - Work-Based Learning Alliance
You've Got Goals, We've Got Internships! Work-Based Learning Alliance - Who We Are: At the Work-Based Learning Alliance we want to help you discover your passions while developing your skills and understanding of the future career options available to you. We are a nonprofit whose focus is on providing career-connected learning experiences to high schoolers across the country. Our role is to ensure all students are fairly paid, have a safe virtual working environment and are supported throughout their internships.
When do the internships start? Work-Based Learning Alliance has 10-, 6-, and 4- week internship options available. Work with your school to determine which option is best for you based on your course load and additional activities. Internships start in September.
How will I be paid? Work-Based Learning Alliance will pay interns $1500 over the course of the 100 hour internship. The pay schedule will vary based on the length of the internship.
You will complete 100 hours of work virtually over the course of your internship. Your exact schedule will vary based on the length of your internship, your industry mentor's availability, and your school's scheduling preferences. You will work with a team of interns, some of whom may be from other schools. You will spend your time working on a project that you and your teammates will ultimately present to your industry sponsor. Your internship will be spent conducting research on your project, working with your team on your final deliverable, and meeting with your industry sponsor.Talk with your family and school about which internship start dates will work best for you.Get your consent form signed and then keep an eye out for an email from the Work-Based Learning Alliance. This email will share key dates and next steps. -
