  • Tuesday, Oct 22                                                                  Day 3

     

    Juniors and Seniors. Today for those students interested in a possible Gap Year or travel abroad option we have Roger Williams University at 9am, Washington College at 10am, Wheaton College at 11am, Bentley University at 12pm, Hobart William Smith Colleges at 1pm, and James Madison University at 2pm. The visits will take place in the College and Career Center. Register in Naviance and see Mr. Smith for a pass. 

    The Class of 2026 will be having a fundraiser at Flatbread pizza on October 29th from 5-9pm for a percentage of sales

    The NHS yearbook will meet today after school in room 245.

    This month's Poetry Soup will take place this Wednesday, October 23 starting at 7:15 pm in room 118.Our guest is 2022 Boston Music Awards Spoken Word Artist of the Year Amanda Shea. Everyone is invited to attend, but not required to read or write.

    The golf team has qualified for the state tournament today, for the first time in school history.

    Congratulations to our cheer team for taking second place in their very first tournament at the Pentucket Cheerleading Competition

  • Friday, October 18                         Day 1

     

    Today  is Picture Make-Up Day. Sullivan Studio will be here from 8:15-10:00 in room 118 for any student or staff member who missed having their picture being taken or needs a makeup picture.

    Homecoming tickets are on sale! They are $10 each and will be sold in the cafe during all lunches. The dance will be held tonight from 8-10PM in the cafe. Reminder, no one outside from Newburyport High is allowed at Homecoming.

  • Thursday, October 17                                                      Day 3

    Attention all students who will be 18 by Nov 5. It is ELECTION YEAR, and hopefully you are excited for your first chance to be a voting adult in our democracy!  To vote, you need to register.  Today -  City Clerk Richard Jones will be in the cafeteria to register voters in time for the election.  Be sure to have a photo ID.
