  • Hello Families,

In recent weeks there has been an increase of student dismissals that do not follow our school procedures.  The procedure attached is designed to minimize disruptions in the classroom, main office, and school.   If there is an emergency need to dismiss a student due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact your student’s grade level administrator.

    Grade 9 and 11 - Mike Testa - x4507

    Grade 10 and 12 - Jim Antonelli - x4505

    Andy Wulf

    Dismissals

We require a documented dismissal note.

    • Students who will be dismissed during the school day must  bring a written note from a parent/caregiver to the main office prior to 8:15 am.
    • The note will contain the
    1. reason for dismissal,
    2. time of dismissal,
    3. date,
    4. parent/caregiver signature & phone contact
    • Students will be given a Dismissal Slip to show the teacher which will allow them to leave the teacher’s class they are in at the time of their dismissal.
    • Students must sign out in the main office before they leave the building.
    • If the student is returning after an appointment, they must return to the main office to sign back in and receive a pass to their next class. A note from a professional will excuse the time away from classes that day.
    • We thank you in advance for your cooperation with the school's protocol requiring a written document for dismissal and appreciate your understanding that a note before school saves much time & work for the attendance personnel.
