The  NHS Internship & Job Fair is a great time for students to come learn about: Career Paths, Trade Opportunities, Internships, Part-time Jobs, Full-Time Jobs, and explore opportunities in our local communities.  

Event Details: Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 1:30pm - 2:45pm during Clipper block.  Sign up to attend through Enriching Students under Internship & Job Fair.  

For students planning their future path, we have a series of new blog posts focused on different career options. Our summaries below provide overviews of each occupation, necessary schooling, and any other certification requirements.

We're opening up our school to give prospective students the opportunity to check out our classrooms, labs and all of the trade career options that The Peterson School has to offer. Students will experience first-hand the skills needed in each of our programs and discover where their talents fit best for a fulfilling career in the trades.

Students aged 16-24, who are a U.S. citizen, legal U.S. resident and/or are authorized to work in the U.S., are invited to learn more about Job Corps eligibility criteria, high school diploma options & the following residential career training options: Advanced Manufacturing Automotive & Machine Repair, Renewable Resources & Energy Construction, Finance & Business, Healthcare, Homeland Security, Hospitality, Transportation, Information Tech

bringbackthetrades.org is a nonprofit that holds events to connect students with a wide variety of tradespeople. At the events there are demos of the types of work tradespeople do and opportunities for "hands-on" experiences too! They offer monthly scholarships, networking and recruitment. There's a fairly local event coming up on May 20th at Great Bay Community College.

The NHS College & Career Center will be hosting an Internship & Career Fair on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 1:45 PM - 2:45 PM being held during Clipper block in the NHS Cafe. List of Community Partners Attending. All students will be able to attend.
