      The  NHS Internship & Job Fair is a great time for students to come learn about: Career Paths, Trade Opportunities, Internships, Part-time Jobs, Full-Time Jobs, and explore opportunities in our local communities.  

      Event Details: Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 1:30pm - 2:45pm during Clipper block.  Sign up to attend through Enriching Students under Internship & Job Fair.

    • Whittier Tech - CTI Summer Programs

      CVTE Spring Program:
      This is a free exploratory program (see attached flyer) where grade 12 students will have the opportunity to explore various programs available to them during their senior year for a duration of 8 weeks. Participants will attend the exploratory program at Whittier from 8 AM to 11 AM and return to their sending schools afterward to complete their academic courses. Once their training program is finalized, students can also participate in the CTI Summer Program.

      CTI Summer Program:
      This is a free career training program (see attached flyer) aimed at our graduates from the Class of 2025, planning to seek full-time employment in their training area after completion. Please note that interested students should complete the QR code with their personal email rather than their school email for the Free Summer Career Training Programs.

    • JOB CORPS Information Session

      Students aged 16-24, who are a U.S. citizen, legal U.S. resident and/or are authorized to work in the U.S., are invited to learn more about Job Corps eligibility criteria, high school diploma options & the following residential career training options: Advanced Manufacturing Automotive & Machine Repair, Renewable Resources & Energy Construction, Finance & Business, Healthcare, Homeland Security, Hospitality, Transportation, Information Tech

    • Bring Back The Trades - Trade Appreciation Event on Sat, May 20th at 10am-4pm

      bringbackthetrades.org is a nonprofit that holds events to connect students with a wide variety of tradespeople. At the events there are demos of the types of work tradespeople do and opportunities for "hands-on" experiences too! They offer monthly scholarships, networking and recruitment. There's a fairly local event coming up on May 20th at Great Bay Community College.
