  • On behalf of the whole NPS team, I'd like to welcome you to Newburyport!

    Newburyport is a special place. When I joined NPS in 2018, I learned quickly about the many Clipper traditions. Students, young and old, proudly wear maroon and gold and enjoy rituals that have been passed down across generations.

    I also learned that Newburyport is a vibrant community with educators, families and students who are interested in innovation and growth. 

    As you will find in the pages of this website, we are driven by our Portrait of a Graduate and guided by five key Reimagine Strategies. Using a future-focused approach to planning, NPS is truly "the port where tradition and innovation converge."
