    The Europe 2026 Informational Meeting is Tonight at 7PM via zoom!

     

    All interested students and their families must register by 3pm today!! registration is closing for the meeting and your chance to win a $500 travel scholarship which will be given away tonight!!! Don't miss out. Check your email to learn how to register, or use the QR code on posters around school or see Ms Maconi or Mr Ribaudo-Smith in the College and Career Center. Can't make it tonight?     Win a $500 scholarship to Europe! One lucky student who attends the Europe 2026 Informational meeting this Thursday, at 7pm via zoom will win a $500 travel scholarship. This is in addition to the $200 discount everyone will receive who attends the meeting, but you must register first! Time is running out so do it today. Check your emails for details, use the QR codes on the posters around school or see Mr Ribaudo-Smith or Ms Maconi if you have questions. You could be the $500 winner so sign up today!

     

     

    The National Honor Society and the Red Cross are hosting a blood drive this Thursday, December 12th. If you’d like to participate, sign up by scanning the QR code on the flyers being distributed at lunch. A few reminders to get ready: 

     1. Stay hydrated—drink lots of water in the days leading up. 

     2. Eat a good breakfast with iron-rich foods like eggs, spinach, or whole grains. 

     3. Bring your school ID for check-in.

     4. If you’re 16, make sure to have your signed permission slip with you.

    Tech club has been canceled for today

     

    The Yearbook club will be meeting today in room 340 right after school.

     

    The National Honor Society and the Red Cross are hosting one of their two blood drives this Thursday, December 12th. To sign up, scan the QR code on one of the sheets being passed out at lunch. 

    And Just a few reminders for the coming days:

    1.        Stay hydrated! Make sure to drink plenty of water this morning.

    2.        Eat a hearty breakfast. Focus on foods rich in iron, like eggs, spinach, or whole grains.

    3. If you are 16 make sure to remember your permission slip on the day.

     

    Hey clippers, tonight is your chance to catch all the music and dance action from NHS at our winter concert. Besides the obviously amazing Bobby's band you heard at color day you'll hear the guitar jam rock class, the orchestra and chorus, both taught by teachers who are new to us at NHS, see the dance class perform, and hear the concert band. Come support music and dance in your school!

    There is an investment club meeting today after school in the college and career center

     

    The Interact Club is excited to announce that we are hosting a food and personal care item drive in honor of Giving Tuesday! This is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and help those in need during the holiday season.

    Collection bins have been placed throughout the school, making it easy for you to drop off donations. We kindly ask for non-perishable food items and essential personal care products. E

    Juniors eye masks are still available. Please pick them up from the table in the cafe during all three lunches today.

     

    Join us tonight for the Annual Dessert Auction. Admission is free, doors open at 6:30, and the auction starts at 7pm. Coffee and cupcakes will be served, raffles will be available, as well as some tasty desserts to bid on. Hope to see you there.

    "Seniors who would like to be involved in the color day skit, please check your emails and meet in the library after school from 2:42-3pm."

     

    Is Europe in your future? It absolutely could be! Students in grades 9-11 are invited to learn more about two exciting student travel opportunities to Europe in 2026 at an upcoming informational meeting. Check your emails for information or email Ms Maconi or Mr Ribaudo-Smith for details.

  • Thursday, November 21                                                  Day 1

    All three 2026 International Tours open today for enrollment. Space is limited. To go to a trip's website, check your emails for the links. We are excited to have you joining us! Need financial help? reach out to the teacher in charge of the tour you wish to join.

     Juniors and Seniors. Today will be our last College Visit of this year and we have Kenyon College at 12pm. The visit will take place in the College and Career Center. Register in Naviance and see Mr. Smith for a pass. 

    We will have a couple of dress up days leading in to color day next week. Monday will be twin day, and Tuesday will be jersey day

    This month's Poetry Soup will take place tonight, starting at 7:15 sharp in room 118. Our guest poet will be the amazing Spoken Word Artist and Teacher FEBO (pronounced FEE-bo), who will be bringing a few of his youth poets from Boston. Everyone is welcome to attend.

    Attention students in grades 9-11. Tonight’s zoom meeting for our Europe 2026 trips has been postponed due to a technical error. An email will go out with information as to the new date and time so please make sure to look at your email. Any questions see Mr Ribaudo-Smith or Ms Maconi

    Seniors, please check the 2025 Google Classroom for Yearbook information. The deadline to send your senior photo is this Friday and we will not be accepting any late submissions.

Also, Wednesday night will be the second information meeting for the two European tours in 2026.6 Belgium and the Netherlands Tour is tonight at 7:30PM via zoom. You must register beforehand. Check your email or use the code on one of the posters around school. 

     

    We offer a big congratulations to the following students who earned their way into the Northeastern district band chorus and orchestra concert, coming in January. Josh Burrell, Evan Lagueux, Sam Parr, Max Piotrowski, and Cedar Schumacher all earned this at auditions on Saturday, so give them a high five when you see them today!
