NPS Performing Arts Festival Sponsored by IFS and the NEF
It may have been a little overcast, but the NPS performing arts students still shone brightly! On May 18th the NPS performing arts teachers hosted their annual festival. Performances included choral, orchestra, band, dance, and theater students.

Bresnahan STEM Fair
On May 23rd the Bresnahan School hosted their annual STEM Fair. Thanks to the generous support of the PTO and many parent volunteers, STEM teacher Kristin Spinney hosted a day-long exploration of science and engineering.

Molin Students Celebrate Poetry
Thank you to the PTO for funding a visiting artist and author creativity workshop for our fourth graders. Ron and Amy Schmidt of Loose Leashes shared their creative process by leading the students in an interactive brainstorming and idea-generating session.

Wednesday, February 5 Day 2
For all those interested in travelling to PERU next April, there will be an informational meeting this Friday, February 7th, during Clipper Block in 328, Ms. Taggarts room. OR attend the informational meeting on Tuesday, February 11th at 6:30pm. See Ms Taggart or Dr Hobbs for details. There are only 6 spots left, don't wait.
This month's Poetry Soup is tonight, Tonight starting at 7:15 pm in room 118. We will start with the school's Poetry Out Loud competition and then hear from guest Slam Champion Zenaida Peterson.
Everyone is welcome to attend either to participate or just to listen and enjoy.

The yearbook will meet Today after school in room 340
A big congratulation to Bay Schumacher for earning a place in the northeastern district junior band, a 130-piece band consisting of 7th to 9th graders from 60 area schools. This is Bay's second consecutive year of earning this placement.
"The Investment Club is meeting right after school today in the College and Career Center. This week's presentation is about future planning for retirement, and how that may look as a young adult. The new market watch starts then as well."

The Interact Club will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday February 4th at 7:45 am in room 330. We will have 2 special guest speakers! All are welcome to attend to find out about the latest Volunteer Opportunities!! Hope to see you there!

The Mock Trial Team won Region 20 and they will be heading to the regionals and fabulous 14 on March 2 at Clark University. This is the first time winning after starting the team three years ago.

The NHS Yearbook will meet Tuesday(today) right after school in room 340
The Investment Club is meeting after school today in the College and Career Center. This week's presentation will be about budgeting, and learning how to best grow your wealth over time. Attendance is recommended, as the presentation will also include an update on the club's $70,000 investment portfolio. Plus there will be candy."
Leo's club will meet tomorrow Wed 1/29 in room 328 at 7:40am.
Just a reminder about the announcements today. Freshmen and Sophomores will be called down at 8:45. Juniors and Seniors will be called down during period C.

January, 27 Monday Day 1
Here are some big music department congratulations. Cedar Schumacher and Evan Lagueux auditioned for the all state jazz band and chorus on Saturday, and Josh Burrell was a runner up for the concerto competition—which would be a solo performance with band accompaniment— for the Groton Hill wind ensemble. Congratulations to all our outstanding NHS musicians!
Pentucket school closed due to a fire in theater on Saturday. Wrestling practice at whittier 3-5 pm in cafeteria
Last night both boys and girl’s teams for the swim team win the CAL open swim meet, the girls have been consecutive winners for four years straight and this is the boys first CAL win in years.
