Students and staff enjoyed our second annual Wellness Days in early June!
The Molin School has been implementing social-emotional learning for ten years and is a trauma-sensitive school (with 17 staff certified in Trauma and Learning from Lesley University). The Wellness Days focus on teaching and modeling strategies to help students manage stress and promote well-being.
Students participated in a variety of activities focused on wellness including: yoga with Beth Houlihan of Roots to Wings, chalk mandalas on the blacktop, gratitude activities with our school counselors, and a nature walk on the Rail Trail. In addition, each student received a “Molin Wellness Kit” to take home.
Thanks to our staff for planning and leading this fun alternative to a year-end field day!
