Please Note: The registration deadline has passed. Registration for a 2026- 2027 bus pass includes a $50 Late Fee, and your student may be subject to waitlist placement.

Fees:

$300 per student (first 2 students in a family)
$100 per additional student

Late Fees:

⚠️ Registrations submitted after the deadline will incur a $50 late fee.
Late registrations may be waitlisted and transportation is not guaranteed.

Complete the Bus Registration Form
Submit the completed form to: Central Office, 70 Low Street, Newburyport, MA 01950

Forms must be received by June 15, 2026 otherwise a $50 late fee will be charged
Incoming students will not appear in MySchoolBucks until the start of the new school year.

Transportation Eligibility

Only Newburyport resident students are eligible for transportation.

Your child qualifies for a free bus pass if:

Students in Grades K–6 who live 1.5 miles or more from school
Students in Grades K–12 who qualify for the free or reduced lunch program

Your child may purchase a bus pass if:

Students in Grades K–6 who live less than 1.5 miles from school
Students in Grades 7–12 who live in Newburyport

Distance is measured using Google Maps based on the shortest driving distance (in miles) between your home and your child’s school. Your distance will also be confirmed by Central Office upon submitting your application.
