Delayed Opening of Schools:  The buses will operate two hours later than their normal schedule.  Schools will be dismissed at the usual time.  AM Kindergarten will be cancelled on “delayed opening” days.

When schools are not canceled or delayed, we expect children to be present.  However, parents are invited to exercise their own judgment on the basis of individual situations.

Once school is in session it is very unlikely that we will dismiss early, because it is difficult to assure that there will be supervision at home for all children.  If an early dismissal is required, we rely on the information you have provided on the student information card. Afternoon kindergaten will be cancelled if worsening conditions warrant. Check Boston T.V. and the District Web Site.

If you have not provided your school with the proper emergency information needed such as a parents’ (work and home) family members’ or friends’ telephone numbers to be used in an emergency situation, please forward that information immediately.
