Poems for Pettengill
Give the most original, personal gift ever!!

Mrs. Szabo’s Creative Writing class is holding a unique fundraiser to raise money for the Pettengill House by promoting their poetic prowess. This non-profit benefit, designed to engage students and greater Newburyport in helping those in need, offers participants an opportunity to send an original poem to a person of their choice while donating to a local organization. For a mere five dollars an NHS student will craft a poem to your specifications.

Do you want to send a special holiday greeting?
Do you want to let your college student know how much you miss him or her?
Do you want to thank someone?
Do you want to make someone laugh or cry?

Like Cyrano deBergerac, NHS students will express your feelings in an eloquent poem. You choose the person, the sentiment, and any three specific words or phrases. The Creative Writing class will do the rest.

All proceeds will be donated to the Pettengill House.
