Early Release Days 2011-2012

The following days are early release days for staff professional development except for November 23 which is the beginning of the Thanksgiving Holiday break; Friday, December 23, Which is the Beginning of the Winter Holiday Break; and June 15 the Projected last day of school*.

This time provides opportunities for teachers to engage in professional work important to the instruction that your child receives. All early release days will have the same dismissal times as indicated:

  • Thursday, October 6
  • Wednesday, November 23 (Day Before Thanksgiving Break)
  • Thursday, December 1
  • Friday, December 23
  • Thursday,January 12
  • Thursday, February 2
  • Thursday, March 1
  • Thursday, April 5
  • Thursday, May 3
  • Thursday, June 7
  • Friday, June 15 (Projected Last Day of School

AM-PM Kindergarten Schedule

The Morning (AM) Kindergarten sections will attend school on the following early release days:
September 22, October 6, November 23, December 1, December 23, January 12, & February 2

The Afternoon (PM) Kindergarten will not attend school on those days.

The Afternoon (PM) Kindergarten sections will attend school on the morning (AM) schedule on the following early release days:
March 1, April 5, May 3, June 7, & June 15.

Morning (AM) Kindergarten sections will not attend school on those days.

Morning (AM) Schedule: 9:00-11:30 AM
Afternoon(PM) Schedule: 1:00 - 3:30 PM

This schedule will equalize the estimated number of days in school for the AM and PM sections.
