We are excited to share our ideas and combine our efforts towards creating a curriculum map for science at the Nock Middle School. This process allows us to align our curriculum with Massachusetts Science and Technology learning standards. Our map also provides us with a working template of our curriculum, so that we can achieve the consistency and continuity that is inherent in spiraling concepts and effective common assessment.

Our goal is to ultimately provide our students with a balanced science experience and a proficient understanding of core science concepts that will serve them well in high school and in a society where science and technology are increasingly important to their success.
