Policies

In 2003, the School Committee at the time decided to move away from the policies and procedures model that they had been following and to use a new Carver Model in developing School Committee policies. There was a separate set of Administrative Policies/Procedures that are used to guide the schools over the last several years. It became cumbersome and confusing to research two manuals.

In 2015-2016, the School Committee voted to return to the Massachusetts Association of School Committees (MASC) model for policy and procedures. This is a work in progress and as sections are reviewed and voted, we will list them here. We will continue to use the other policies in place until such time as they are updated.
