In 2003, the School Committee at the time decided to move away from the policies and procedures model that they had been following and to use a new Carver Model in developing School Committee policies. There was a separate set of Administrative Policies/Procedures that are used to guide the schools over the last several years. It became cumbersome and confusing to research two manuals.
In 2015-2016, the School Committee voted to return to the Massachusetts Association of School Committees (MASC) model for policy and procedures. This is a work in progress and as sections are reviewed and voted, we will list them here.
